SKIN CANCER SCREENING

This is a new signature program with our first use of the bus in March 2022. We were able to have 88 people from the local community screened. A significant number of them were advised to take the screening report to their doctor for follow up examination and treatment if required.

We have already booked a return visit but the demand is such that it may not happen for 2 years.

Tatura Lions made a significant contribution to the funding required for purchase and fit out of the cancer bus.

The bus has been set up to screen skin for cancers by the Lions Clubs of Victoria and southern New South Wales
